Outdoor Range Rules

OUR RANGE IS LEASED. TREAT IT WITH RESPECT TO THE OWNER TO ENSURE WE CAN CONTINUE IT'S USE

- Range is open April 1 thru October 31, sunrise to sunset, unless it's too muddy to drive in.
- Range cannot be used without a club member present.
- Everyone on the range must have ear and eye protection.
- Range is reserved for scheduled events and the range cannot be used for other purposed when an event is in preparation or being conducted.
- Be sure of your backstop! There is no excuse for any rounds getting off the range. That would be the quickest way for us to lose the range. Rifles must be fired into the main berm at the north end of the range.
- Each shooter is responsible for policing their shell casings. You are also responsible for cleaning up your targets and any other trash you created. If you brought it with you then dispose of it properly or take it with you when you leave.
- Do not light the burn barrel unless you plan to stay until it is completely out.
- Members may bring guests, but they must sign a release. You can only bring the same guest once a year.

- Close the gates behind you when entering and leaving. If you are the last one out, be sure to lock the front gate.
- No loaded firearms allowed and everything must be grounded when anyone is downrange.
- Alcohol or prescription drugs do not mix with firearms. Shoot, then relax
- We do not own this range. It is leased. Treat it as you would your own property. Do not do anything that would jeopardize our relationship with the landlord.
- If there is a problem that you can fix, fix it! If not, report it to a club officer immediately.
- Use common sense and shoot safely.
- No fully automatic firearms.
- No exploding targets.
- Rules violations will result in permanent membership revocation.
